• Purchase data: When you buy a product, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your name, email address, and payment information. We receive your name and email — we never see or store your full card number.
• Server logs: Our web server records page requests, including the page visited, referring website, browser type, and device category. IP addresses are hashed immediately and never stored in plain text. These logs are used solely to understand how visitors find and use the Site.
• Campaign parameters: If you arrive via a link with UTM parameters (e.g., from social media), we record the campaign source to measure which channels bring visitors. No personal data is collected through this.

We do not use cookies. We do not use third-party analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels). We do not run advertising scripts. All analytics are processed server-side with no client-side tracking code.

3. Why We Process Your Data

We process your data for the following purposes and legal bases (per GDPR Art. 6):

• Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): To deliver the product you purchased, provide download access, and send transactional emails related to your purchase (e.g., download links, purchase confirmations).
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): To comply with tax, accounting, and record-keeping laws.

4. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. (stripe.com). When you make a purchase, your payment data is handled directly by Stripe under their own privacy policy. We do not store credit card numbers or payment credentials on our servers.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — payment processing (USA, EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply)
• Fly.io — website hosting (servers in Frankfurt, Germany)

6. International Transfers

Stripe is headquartered in the United States. Data transfers to the US are safeguarded under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as required under GDPR Chapter V. Our website is hosted on Fly.io servers in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).

7. Data Retention

• Purchase records: Retained for 10 years as required by German tax law (§ 147 AO).
• Server analytics: Rolling buffer of last 2,000 events; no long-term storage of individual page views. Daily aggregates retained for 90 days.
• Download tokens: Expire after 7 days and are then deleted.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure — Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
